The Tri-City ValleyCats are proud to announce that Ben Meyers has joined the organization as the new Communications & Marketing Manager and Allyson Hefner is the new Box Office Coordinator.

Meyers brings over 18 years of media experience into the new role from a variety of stops in newspapers, higher education, and local government. A lifelong baseball fan, and a player throughout high school and into college, he covered his first ValleyCats game in 2011 and is looking forward to this year’s season at “The Joe.”

Hefner joins the box office team after attending her first ValleyCats game in 2018 and graduating from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2025 where she majored in Broadcasting Communications with a minor in Business Organization. Her passion for baseball and her background in communications inspired her to join the ValleyCats.

The ValleyCats 2026 season begins Friday, May 8 at New Jersey with Opening Night at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium scheduled for Friday, May 15 against the Québec Capitales. Individual tickets go on sale on Thursday, March 26.
