ValleyCats Take Third-Straight, Top Aigles, 7-2
The Tri-City ValleyCats tore off their quickest game of the 2026 season with a tidy 7-2 win over Trois-Rivieres in just 2:25 on June 10.
Dylan Broderick extended his hit streak to 16 games with a ninth inning double. He also walked twice. He has reached base in every game he has batted in this season (22 total) this season. He scored for the seventh game in a row on a Brayden Jobert sac fly in the ninth.
David Glancy (2-for-4, 2R, 3 RBI) hit his team-leading sixth home run of the season with Broderick and RJ Stinson aboard in the top of the first for Ti-City (10-17). Jake Reinisch dropped in a two-run double in the top of the fifth for the 'Cats as they picked up their third-straight win.
Austin Dill went seven full innings on 102 pitches for Tri-City striking out six and allowing just five hits, two walks, and a run. Mason Martinez came on for two innings of one-run relief.
Sam Franco ended up 3-for-4 for the Aigles (7-20).
The teams finish up the series tomorrow at 6:55 p.m.
The ValleyCats return to Troy on Friday June 12 against the New York Boulders for Rock n’ Roll Night and Section 2 Night of Champions Presented by Garelick Farms. They follow that up with what some would argue is the greatest night of the season: Saturday, June 13 Star Wars Night with postgame fireworks presented by Upstate New York Toyota. The series culminates with Sunday, June 14's Rensselaer County Family Day, Youth Jersey Giveaway, and Sunday FunDay presented by Highmark BSNENY.
