TROY, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats, currently on a three-game winning streak going into the final game of a series at Trois-Rivieres tonight, are set to take on the Atlantic East Division-leading New York Boulders this weekend in a three-game series at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.

Dylan Broderick is currently on a 16-game hit streak for Tri-City, while outfielder David Glancy has hit six home runs and driven in 21 runs this season.

For the homestand, gates open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, gates open at 3:30 p.m. with first pitch at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The series opens with Rock n’ Roll Night and the first Section 2 Night of Champions, presented by Garelick Farms, to recognize sectional-winning teams from across the Capital District (the previous date was rained out).

Then, Saturday, June 13, is one of the team's most anticipated dates of the year: Star Wars Night at The Joe. Rebels, aliens, and droids from a galaxy far, far away will be in attendance, and kid-friendly lightsabers will be on sale to illuminate The Joe during the postgame fireworks presented by Upstate New York Toyota.

The weekend series culminates with Rensselaer County Family Day and Youth Jersey Giveaway. Families are also invited to join the team for Sunday FunDay presented by Highmark BSNENY where they can get an on-field catch in before the game, and children of all ages can run the bases postgame.
