June 2-7 2026 Homestand 16x9

ValleyCats Six-Game Homestand from June 2-7

The Tri-City ValleyCats return to Joseph L. Bruno Stadium for a six-game home stand against the Sussex County Miners and the Ottawa Titans from June 2-7.

Tickets are always available online.

The ValleyCats (6-13) are coming off a 3-3 road trip to Mississippi, including the team’s longest game of the season – a 3-hour, 43-minute, 10-7 win that had 19 total hits and 41 total runners on Friday night. Plus, the ValleyCats set a season-high with eight stolen bases.

The homestand opens with June 2’s Workforce Development Night, presented by Ferguson, Paylocity, and Human Interest. The event is also supported by the Capital Region Workforce Development Board. Job seekers can present resumes to employers with in-person interviews happening throughout the game, while a CDL driving simulator will be at the ballpark to allow fans to get behind the wheel of a digital big rig truck.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. against Sussex County (6-13).

Participating organizations include:

  • FBI Albany
  • NYS Department of Civil Service

The ‘Cats follow that up with back-to-back Education Day morning games against Sussex County on June 3 and 4 presented by Transfinder, with gates opening at 9 a.m. and first pitches at 10 a.m.

Tri-City hosts its second Youth Baseball Night of 2026 on Friday, June 5, in the series opener against Ottawa. Tri-City will also pay homage to the Hudson River's geographic, economic, and cultural influence on the Capital District through the team’s "Puentes" identity.  The ValleyCats annually take the field as Los Puentes de Tri-City (The Bridges) for multiple games during the season. The alternate blue jerseys celebrate the physical connection bridges create, and the team aims to use baseball's connective tissue to span cultural divides and celebrate the region's diversity through a shared experience. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with postgame fireworks presented by Upstate New York Toyota.

The ValleyCats celebrate the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 6, with Triple Crown Night presented by Capital OTB before finishing the three-game set against Ottawa on Albany County Night on Sunday, June 7, presented by the Office of the Albany County Executive. A limited number of fans can also create their own baseball cards as part of the night.

The series finale is also a Sunday Funday presented by Highmark BSNENY where families can have an on-field catch before the game and run the bases afterward. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. for the Sunday game with first pitch at 5 p.m.
