An unforgettable summer is on tap for Tri-City ValleyCats fans across the Capital Region as the team proudly announced its full 2026 season promotional night schedule today.

After a six-game road trip to open up the schedule, the ValleyCats’ Home Opening Night presented by Rensselaer County Department of Health at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium is set for May 15 against the defending Frontier League Champion Quebec Capitales. The home opener culminates with the first of 15 postgame fireworks shows presented by Upstate New York Toyota this season.

The annual Youth Jersey Giveaway presented by Rensselaer County is scheduled for June 14 on Rensselaer County Family Day.

The ValleyCats will add two bobbleheads to their library this season as well. The first bobblehead is presented by Snapple, and will honor Team USA Women’s Soccer rising star and Bethlehem Central Schools graduate Claire Hutton on June 23. The second bobblehead, which completes the team’s three-hot-dog set, is “Ketchup,” will be given to fans on August 5 as part of Hot Dog Appreciation Night.

A total of 4 Education Days presented by Transfinder (May 20, May 21, June 3, June 4), along with nine Sunday Fundays presented by Highmark BSNENY (May 17, May 24, June 7, June 14, June 28, July 5, July 26, August 9, August 30), also highlight the ValleyCats' 51 home dates. During Sunday Fundays, families are encouraged to have a pre-game catch on the field, and kids of all ages can show off their first-to-third speed during a post-game run around the bases. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. on Sundays.

Otherwise, gates open at 5:30 p.m. for ValleyCats home games with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
