The Tri-City ValleyCats and Community Resource Federal Credit Union (CRFCU) are sending up a signal for new Bat Boys/Girls of the Game for all ValleyCats home games this season.
All Capital Region kids 10-years-old and up are encouraged to sign up at TCValleyCats.com/batboybatgirl to be entered in a drawing to join the team in the dugout for a game, get a free t-shirt, pick up a limited number of tickets for guests to watch them in action from the stands, and receive a unique opportunity to open a youth savings account with CRFCU.
“Community Resource FCU is proud to partner with the Tri-City ValleyCats to create fun, memorable experiences that bring families closer to the game,” said Paige Angrisano, Vice President of Development & Community Engagement at Community Resource Federal Credit Union. “Programs like Bat Boys and Bat Girls of the Game not only give local youth a behind-the-scenes opportunity they’ll never forget, but also help us introduce the importance of saving and financial wellness in a way that’s engaging and accessible.”
The ValleyCats home opener is set for Friday, May 15, against the defending Frontier League champion Quebec. The season includes 51 total regular-season dates, finishing on Sunday, August 30, against the Down East Bird Dawgs.
